I popped over to Sebastian + Barquet to see this Donald Judd show of furniture. The gallery is quite a nice backdrop with a Flavin type wall construction. The metal pieces are very interesting in that you see the complexity of the construction not evident in the minimalist's text and the scale of the chair series is quite small maybe too small for common consumption? You wonder what Judd was thinking. These production pieces are nice to see all in one room but sneak over to Andrea Rosen for the real deal in the back room-real craft....
