Another super interesting show is opening at The Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at The Brooklyn Museum. Artist great Kiki Smith is installing a epic storytelling work based on the needlework artifact of Prudence Punderson(for more on Punderson seeLaurel Ulrich's The Age of the Homespun), a young 18th century woman. The installation will spill into the very special period rooms of the Brooklyn Museum which is a act of courage I have never seen at a museum. This should really be good.
